Relieve Painful TMJ Symptoms with Occlusal Therapy
Do you experience jaw pain, neck pain, or headaches after restless nights of teeth grinding? If so, you might have temporomandibular jaw disorder (TMJ), a disorder that affects the joint connecting your jawbone to your skull.
Alas, there’s good news! Your TMJ specialist is right here in Marietta, and he wants to help you find relief from TMJ. With occlusal therapy, you will be able to experience better sleep, less pain throughout the day, and improved daily functioning. Because TMJ sometimes occurs due to jaw misalignment, occlusal therapy helps to correct your bite and reduce the stress on your smile. If you experience jaw, neck, or head pain, ask your dentist about readjusting your jaw with occlusal therapy.
